Lake Superior: The Apostle Islands and Beyond

Sea Caves: Nature’s Masterpiece

One of the most breathtaking sights on Lake Superior is the Apostle Islands’ sea caves. These dramatic sandstone formations, shaped by centuries of wind and water, are best explored by boat. From your seat on the water, you can marvel at the intricate arches, tunnels, and cliffs, and if conditions permit, we’ll even take you close enough to feel the cool spray of Superior’s waves.

Lighthouses: Beacons of History

The Apostle Islands boast more historic lighthouses than any other national park in the United States. Highlights include the elegant Raspberry Island Light Station and the remote Outer Island Lighthouse. These towering structures not only guided mariners through treacherous waters but also hold stories of the dedicated keepers who maintained them in isolation.

Shipwrecks: Windows to the Past

Lake Superior’s cold, clear waters preserve shipwrecks like underwater time capsules. Using advanced technology such as sidescan sonar and onboard cameras, we can showcase these sunken relics on screens from the comfort of our boat. It’s like taking a step back in time to the golden age of Great Lakes shipping.

Hiking Adventures

Pair your boat tour with a guided hike to explore the history and beauty of the Apostle Islands. Visit old lumber camps, historic fisheries, or remote beaches. Each trail offers a unique mix of natural beauty and cultural heritage.

Lake Michigan: Door County and Coastal Charm

Shopping and Dining in Door County

Door County is the crown jewel of Lake Michigan’s Wisconsin shoreline. Known for its picturesque towns, boutique shops, and delicious dining options, it’s a favorite stop on our boat tours. Whether you’re craving fresh-caught fish or a classic Wisconsin cheese curd, Door County has something to satisfy your appetite.

Lighthouses Along the Coast

The Wisconsin coastline is dotted with historic lighthouses, each with its own unique story. From the iconic Cana Island Lighthouse to the remote Plum Island Light, these landmarks are stunning photo opportunities and fascinating pieces of maritime history.

Relaxing Beach Stops

Green Bay’s tranquil beaches make the perfect pit stop. Enjoy a picnic, take a swim, or simply soak in the sun while the gentle waves lap at the shore.

Green Bay: Scenic and Family-Friendly

Wildlife Watching and Scenic Views

Green Bay’s calmer waters are ideal for spotting wildlife. Keep an eye out for bald eagles, herons, and other native species as we cruise along its peaceful shoreline.

Family Adventures

Green Bay is perfect for families looking for a mix of relaxation and adventure. Whether it’s a boat ride to a secluded beach or a trip to see lighthouses and shipwrecks, there’s no shortage of activities to keep everyone entertained.
